The API integration position will be a senior level position. The applicant will be required to integrate multiple applications using PHP. Extensive experience in integrations is required for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Previous experience with integrating CMS, ecommerce, eMarketing, LMS, CRM and social media applications.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in the practice of:
- Customization of products on .NET, PHP, Perl, and Open source Application Frameworks
- Integration of multiple platforms using web services, XML, REST, SOAP, AJAX and other integration technologies
- Object oriented design and relational data modeling
- Content migration, search indexing, and search engine optimization
- System infrastructure and configuration management
- Workflow and collaboration tools (Basecamp)
- All current versions of Oracle, SQL Server & MySQL Databases
- All current version IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle Application Server & IBM Websphere
- Understand the implementation, configuration & installation of Unix, Linux, Solaris, and Windows systems used in development & production environments
- Understanding of Clustering, Load Balancing, and Virtualization(VMware vCenter, ESX/ESXi 3.5 & 4)
- Work with clients to determine the proper specifications for production environments.
- Work with Software Developers to determine the correct implementation of various technologies utilized in both development and production environments
- Determine proper hardware/software needs in order to support internal environments and production environments
- Work with vendors to ensure SLAs and contract terms are met
- Communicates business functions with clients and partners, including technical and design staff, project managers, business users, and management. Writes and presents proposals of business applications.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide mentoring to other Developers, Software Engineers & System Administrators if the need arises
Stay up to date on emerging technologies and updates to existing technologies that are of interest to the Company
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: At least a B.S. in Computer Science or related field
Experience: At least 6 years experience working with various operation systems (Windows Server, Solaris, Linux, Unix, VMWare). Experience with managed hosting environments and working directly with clients. Previous management or leadership experience in a technical environment is a plus. Application integration experience is required. Great personality is a must
